Rejection is redirection
When things don't work out, there's a reason.
Let me give you an example:
A few years ago I tried to grow on TikTok but it just wasn't clicking. π«
I felt embarrassed that my videos weren't 'popping off' - and eventually I quit.
The reason it didn't work was because my content was bad. It hurts to admit that, but at the same time there was a good reason.
Turns out, cramming all my thoughts into 45 seconds just isn't me. And my content reflected this misalignment π€·πΌββοΈ
I'm in my element when I can really dig in to a subject and give useful advice.
So I stopped wasting my time in places where I wasn't being my authentic self. ππ»
And now I always remember:
β Not every platform will vibe with your personal strengths.
β Playing to your natural communication style unlocks your potential.
β It's a good thing that different platforms have different types of audiences.
Failure with TikTok wasn't a dead end - it redirected me to platforms like LinkedIn and Youtube.
Where my authenticity and depth can actually thrive. And where I meet so many more people that have similar goals! π«ΆπΌ
So don't force yourself into boxes that diminish you. Figure out where you can shine as your true self, then go all in!
