Care less

There's this concept that actually helped me achieve my goals faster.

And it's not what you think: I started caring less.

The Law of Detachment says the more you release mental/emotional attachments, the more you'll attract what you actually want.

Okay, that sounds a bit airy-fairy. Let's break it down.

I'm not saying you shouldn't set goals. But you should see your goals as more of a direction than a destination.

Being hyper-focused on one specific outcome leads to:

→ Anxiety when things don't go as planned.

→ A lack mindset focused on negativity.

→ Stifled creativity from rigid expectations.

It's like if you went to the gym to get big biceps - but every time you do a bicep curl you stop to look in a mirror to see if you've got them yet. 💪🏼😮‍💨

Each time you put in the effort and the ideal outcome doesn't magically appear, your goal loses a bit more of its ✨sparkle✨.

You lose motivation. Which makes getting to your goal so much harder.

You absolutely can not control the exact outcome of your goals. But you can control your work ethic, consistency, and mindset.

So ditch the obsession over one specific result. Focus on mastering the process. Be patient and be present a.k.a. enjoy the journey!

The destination will follow effortlessly when you're fully engaged in each step.

detach from the outcome > attach to the process > align to the goal.
